Tamera Mowry as The Seashell was not the most consistent performer in the competition. She is certainly the most improved throughout her time on the show as she gained more confidence. Mark McGrath as The Orca got the short end of the stick when he joined The Masked Singer. He had no idea he was going to be a wildcard contestant. The Sugar Ray frontman brought the dose of rock and roll that the show was lacking this season. He was sent home way too early after his vulnerable rendition of “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”by Poison.
This may be controversial, but Season 5 winner The Piglet just wasn’t the best performer to take the stage this season. Nick Lachey did captivate the judges with his emotional songsbut it was a bit…boring. He is a good vocalist and gave us all of the boyband vibes. However, he was pitchy at times and his song choices were a little too safe.
One thing The Masked Singer could have done a better job at this season was disguising Wiz Khalifa’s voice as The Chameleon.
