Aug 4, 2009 · James Garner(JAMES SCOTT BUMGARNER) was born on 7.4.1928 in Norman, Oklahoma. His mother was 1/2 Cherokee, but died when he was 5 years old. Garner hated his stepmother, WILMA, who beat him and his brothers. So one day he left for good. After working at many jobs, at 16, he joined US Merchant Marine, later to join Hollywood High School.
This is a classy, classic western comedy. Skin Game is a clever, suspenseful and hilarious movie guaranteed to make anyone laugh out-loud. There is no profanity and no sex. There is however, sizzling chemistry between Susan Clarke's character (a con-woman) and James Garner's character (also a con-man). Highly highly recommended!
