Apr 24, 2006 · The material and workmanship of these Van Gogh's is outstanding, especially when you enter the street price at around $225 for the Maxi. I bought this pen on a whim and kick myself for not getting one sooner. I will no doubt be buying a Crystal Maxi <F> this summer at the DC Pen Show.

Apr 22, 2009 · To draw this to a close--I want a Van Gogh in Cappucino--bad! But from the brief moments of holding both pens (and mind you, I wasn't offered a chance to really do anything with the maxi) I'm not sure, in terms of size and comfort, whether to get the maxi or the midi.
May 3, 2020 · In this review, however, I wish to celebrate a now sadly discontinued range of Visconti pens, the “Van Gogh Maxi” which were in production in the first decade of the 2000s (along with their smaller cousins the Van Gogh “Midi” and Mini” versions).
