Established in 1897 by John Rutherford, this historic hotel was utilized by presidents as well as less-than-savory outlaws. The adventure and intrigue of the old west awaits in guest rooms appointed with turn-of-the-century decor. However, don't expect the romantic reverie of dusty streets, carriage rides and whispers of a nearby gold rush, since this hotel has three bars, you'll be lucky if you get to bed before 3am! Additionally, you won't be interrupted by a telephone or television set because the hotel tries to maintain its traditional authenticity.
