Lydia asks Alice if she knew what it was about. Alice cannot speak well anymore, and mumbles that it was about love. They hug and we are to presume that Alice continues to deteriorate.

Feb 24, 2015 · #1. Since I had a rare snow day yesterday , I decided to read Still Alice. I finished it late last night. I have a few questions about the ending. We plan to go see the movie later this week, and my questions will probablly be answered, but I am curious. Spoiler alert.
Feb 18, 2015 · This is why Alice’s refrain, “I wish I had cancer,” is so understandable. “Still Alice” is a richly sad film, which is to be expected with subject matter that’s so inherently tragic. It’s a testament to the film makers that they did not try to force any type of upbeat ending. The film isn’t entirely dark though.
