Saint Pierre Cathedral in Geneva, Switzerland is the principal church of the Reformed Protestant Church of Geneva. Previously it was a Roman Catholic cathedral, having been converted in 1535. It is known as the adopted home church of John Calvin, one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation.
Entrance into the main part of the cathedral is free but if you want to explore more like climbing up the towers for panoramic views over Geneva or visiting archeological site beneath the cathedral, there is a small entrance fee.
Sep 2023 • Couples. Excavations have unearthed a vast treasure of history under the present Cathedral. Impressively viewable via raised walkways, it’s an absorbing tour. A large star shaped impression dates from the casting in 1407 of the largest bell in the cathedral.

The Chapel of the Maccabees is inside the cathedral in Geneva, and entrance to it (as with the cathedral) is free. It's a small room but has beautiful stained glass windows. Unfortunately during our visit, there was some construction or restoration going on, so some of the windows and floor area were covered and not visible.
