  1. Sep 11, 2021 · One of my favourite records from the era is EOAD "Love the Feeling" -- the A side has the title, but the two tracks on the flip are both called Remix on the label, so they became "Love The Feeling A1", "Love the Feeling B1", "Love the Feeling B2".

  2. Dec 31, 2022 · One advantage is that if it is a true double A-side, where both sides are identical, it spreads the wear over two sides vs. one. (I've even seen promotional 12-inch singles in the early 1980s with identical sides, so it wasn't limited to just a small number of years.)

  3. Label images from both sides are fine to include, as they are different, even though you cannot tell by looking at a cropped image of the labels. What's different, of course, is that the same label is on both sides.

  4. Apr 14, 2010 · As in the case of the reader’s find, the same label appears on both sides, though the record plays two different songs. Another error that comes up every so often is having the labels reversed; in other words, the A-side’s label is on the B-side of the record, and vice versa.

  5. Nov 27, 2005 · I have a 2-LP set of "HMS Pinafore" of Gilbert and Sullivan on EMI Angel (Capitol) which has the labels for sides 2 and 3 reversed. I had a recording of music from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker on London which had the Side 2 label on BOTH sides.
