- Acropolis. Start your one day in Athens itinerary with the Acropolis, the city’s #1 attraction and a historical site that you just can’t miss. It opens at 8:00 am.
- Odeon of Herodes Atticus. After you’ve seen the main complex, there are several other ancient sites scattered nearby that are worth seeing. The Odeon of Herodes Atticus is large ancient theater located on the slope of the Acropolis.
