Jun 23, 2022 · Testing Policy: All guests cruising with Carnival must present a negative antigen test or a nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT) COVID-19 test at check-in, taken at least 3 days prior to the sailing date.
The updated protocols are: In addition to lab administered tests, self-testing is accepted for unvaccinated guests on cruises 15 nights and shorter. Certain destinations do not accept unsupervised pre-cruise self-testing, including Bermuda, Canada, Greece, and Spain.
Depending on your departure port and vaccination status, you will have to take a Covid test 1, 2, or 3 days prior to your sail date. Test required within 3 days of sail date: If your cruise leaves on Sunday, you can take your Covid test Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

If you need a professionally proctored at-home antigen test, order one of Abbott's BinaxNOW tests. (Make sure it's the BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card Home Test if the cruise line or destination requires results to be from supervised tests.)

Unvaccinated passengers must also take an on-site COVID-19 antigen test before boarding on the day of departure and another test within 24 hours of disembarkation.
