Jan 15, 2024 · Delayed birth records after 1910 are available for a fee at the of Vital Records (PDF file). There are no restrictions on pre-1910 records. Return to top: Choose another birth year. Births from 1908 thru 1913. Most counties kept birth records beginning in 1908. Few of these records are available online.
Tennessee began requiring birth records be kept statewide in 1908. However, the law requiring records to be kept lapsed at the end of 1912, therefore no records were kept in 1913. Statewide recordkeeping resumed in 1914.
