They also controlled Hungary and Bohemia (1526–1918) and ruled Spain and the Spanish empire for almost two centuries.

Feb 15, 2024 · Mary King’s Close was covered over and swallowed up into the basement of the Royal Exchange. The sloping ground meant that the houses fronting onto the Royal Mile were destroyed.
