That is exactly why I didn't find it funny, but decades later I enjoyed the similar stories on Mom because I was no longer doing it. If anyone wants to push it further, try and find the 3 seasons of Ron Livingston in "Loudermilk." If Mom was PG, then Loudermilk is close to X-rated. They had a relapse episode that damn near brought me to tears.
