- Students who are incoming 9th graders are eligible to apply for the Magnet Program. Students selected through a lottery for participation in the Magnet Programs may attend the school selected as long as they continue to participate and meet the requirements of the program.

Your child CURRENTLY attends a Columbus Magnet School in Pre-Kindergarten through fourth grade and you wish to APPLY for a DIFFERENT Magnet School. If a CURRENT STUDENT wishes to remain in their current placement, DO NOT submit a lottery application. Your child will automatically have a seat in his or her current Magnet School for next year.
