Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back (Chinese: 西遊伏妖篇) is a 2017 Chinese fantasy adventure comedy film directed by Tsui Hark. A sequel to Stephen Chow's 2013 film Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons, it was produced and co-written by both Tsui and Chow.
Feb 3, 2017 · Chow lingers longer on his performers as a general rule. Tsui has skies and monsters to conjure; he doesn't have time for development that isn't broad and easy to follow. Which may explain why those three female performances, undercut as they are, are the most appealing in the film.
In 2013 Srbova portrayed the agent Major Nina Pirogova in the acclaimed Cinemax/HBO series Strike Back, starring Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton. In 2015 she reprized her role in Strike Back: Legacy.
Synopsis. Tang Sanzang, accompanied by his three disciples, sets off on a journey to obtain the scriptures from the West. On the surface, everything appears harmonious, but in reality, there is hidden mutual resistance and discord.
