Try using training rod since it increases your green bar to level 5 fishing equivalent. As your fishing skill increases, so does the green bar so keep fishing. Difficulty of the catch is also proportional to the rarity of the fish so harder catch are usually rarer fishes. Reply.
Sep 28, 2023 · Makes it much easier to get started. It also becomes easier in general as you level up. Might want to try if it's easier for you to do it with a controller/keyboard if you have the option. Some have solved it by rebinding the button to a key rather than a mouse button. Fishing itself is not at all impossible. I get to level 3 Fishing on the second day of the game and I've made enough money with it to buy a Greenhouse on the eleventh day of the game.
Jun 23, 2020 · Yeah, fishing can be tricky to get the hang of, and some of the fish in the game are dang hard to catch. There's no direct relationship per se, as the difficulty per type of fish is a set amount, and on a scale completely separate from the player skill of 1-10.
Reaching Fishing level 10, using an iridium rod with a Cork Bobber and with the Master enchant, and eating food (better prepared with Qi Seasoning) that provides a temporary fishing buff (e.g., Seafoam Pudding) will all help make catching these difficult fish much more manageable.
