Froggydarb23:41, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply] Oppose- There is much more to featured pictures than just being a pretty photograph or diagram. You cannot apply criteria that one would use to judge whether or not one would hang a picture up in one's own house to judge candidacy for featured pictures.
As for footnotes, I agree that they should come after external links. If anything, wikipedia should change the page headings to article, discussion, edit, history, follow and sources so you don't get all the little blue links on the main page. Explain what are Ashes series, include some history and some facts related to the list. The lead should be at one or two paragraphs long. Plus add a picture in lead also.
This is a Featured Picture candidate. Having a manufacturer name in such photo is free advertisement in my opinion, same product is manufactured by others. Cars are different, you don't need to read the name on the car to know the manufacturer, at least for most of people.
