Biography and career. Hibler was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on October 10, 1910. He was the youngest child of Christopher Hibler and Louise Eisenbeis. [1] He wanted to be an actor in New York at the age of 12. [citation needed] In 1930, he graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and performed on Broadway, In the Best of Families.

Winston Hibler was a writer, director, producer, narrator, and Disney Legend who made numerous contributions to the glory days of The Walt Disney Studios from the 1940s until his death in 1976. His earliest official credit came as a story writer for Disney's animated musical take on the folk hero "Johnny Appleseed."
