     For something as large as what you have, its very difficult to print the results, so i will give you a working example for something smaller-

     import numpy as npfrom itertools import permutationsmatrix = np.random.randint(0, 5, (4,2))print(matrix)

     Output:

     [[4 3] [3 0] [1 3] [3 3]]

     Getting the permutations:

     k = permutations(matrix, 2)for sub_matrix in k: print(sub_matrix)-

     Output:

     (array([4, 3]), array([3, 0]))(array([4, 3]), array([1, 3]))(array([4, 3]), array([3, 3]))(array([3, 0]), array([4, 3]))(array([3, 0]), array([1, 3]))(array([3, 0]), array([3, 3]))(array([1, 3]), array([4, 3]))(array([1, 3]), array([3, 0]))(array([1, 3]), array([3, 3]))(array([3, 3]), array([4, 3]))(array([3, 3]), array([3, 0]))(array([3, 3]), array([1, 3]))

     So in your example you'd pass 4 as the second argument to permutations. I must warn you though, you will get a whooping 15,249,024 permutations. EDIT: To get the combinations and NOT the permutations, you'd replace permutations with combinations. Even in this case you'd get 635,376 results. Watch out before printing!

     You don't explicitly require a 3rd party library to generate your rather simple XML format. You could simply write a to a StringBuffer object:

     ...StringBuffer sb = new StringBuffer();sb.append("<root>");for (String[] row: dataList) { sb.append("<entry>"); sb.append("<ContractDate>").append(row[0]).append("</ContractDate>"); // etc... sb.append("</entry>");}sb.append("</root>");...

     However, I'm not necessarily advocating it. I personally recommend Simple XML. Create a POJO to model your rows (I won't include all properties in my example):

     It's certainly some extra work up-front, but for non-trivial programs, having proper Java classes to represent the data models makes a lot of sense and provides greater flexibility, and code clarity.

     To save save as XML you do this:

     List<Entry> entryList = new ArrayList(); int entryCount = 0; Serializer serializer = new Persister(); for (String[] row: dataList) { Entry entry = new Entry(); entry.setTrader(row[1]); entry.setId(++entryCount); entryList.add(entry); } File result = new File("entries.xml"); serializer.write(new Entries(entryList), result);

     The Simple XML library gives you a lot of flexibility. You can also load up the XML file back into a list of Entry objects.

     Sure - just create an instance of Random instead of using Math.random(), and always specify the same seed:

     Random random = new Random(10000); // Or whatever seed - maybe configurableint diceRoll = random.nextInt(6) + 1; // etc-

     Note that it becomes harder if your application has multiple threads involved, as the timing becomes less predictable.

     This takes advantage of Random being a pseudo-random number generator - in other words, each time you ask it for a new result, it manipulates internal state to give you a random-looking sequence, but knowing the seed (or indeed the current internal state) it's entirely predictable.

     Given an array of k numbers factor[], the task is to print first n numbers (in ascending order) whose factors are from the given array.

     Examples:

     This problem is mainly an extension of Ugly Number Problem. We create an auxiliary array next[] of size same as factor[] to Keep track of next multiples of factors. In Each iteration, we output the minimum element from next, then increment it by the respective factor. If the minimum value is equal to the previous output value, increment it (to avoid duplicates). Else we print the minimum value.
