The Porsche 356 is a sports car that was first produced by Austrian company Porsche Konstruktionen GesmbH (1948–1949), and then by German company Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche GmbH (1950–1965). It was Porsche's first production automobile.
The model designations by year ranges were 356 (1948-1955), 356A (1955-1959), 356B (1959-1963) and 356C (1963-1965) with some C models still produced into 1966. Any way you go the cost will be in the $US 5000 range for parts. Installation extra, but not difficult to do yourself.
