Jun 27, 2011 · Featured review. 9/10. Amazing Film. About a boy named Robbie who goes on a fantastic journey with his baby son. Robbie at first, see's his son occasionally from the babies mother. Later Robbie takes the baby from it's mothers boyfriend in which he thrillingly shoots the boyfriend in the foot and takes his car.

A Boy Called Dad is a 2009 British drama film, produced by Made Up North Productions. It is the feature film debut of director Brian Percival, screenwriter Julie Rutterford, producers Michael Knowles and Stacey Murray, and co-producer Mark John. It stars Ian Hart and Kyle Ward as father and son.
The plot is reality lite. Thirteen-year-old Robbie (Ward) goes all the way for the first time with Leanne, the sexiest girl at school. She becomes pregnant, has the baby and starts hanging out with Stevie, who fancies himself as a hard boy. This takes less than five minutes of screen time. Robbie and Leanne avoid each other.
