Titane (French: ⓘ, lit. ' Titanium ' ) is a 2021 body horror psychological drama film [5] [6] written and directed by Julia Ducournau . The French-Belgian co-production stars Agathe Rousselle in her feature film debut as Alexia, a woman who, after being injured in a car crash as a child, has a titanium plate fitted into her head.

Agathe Rousselle (French: [aɡat ʁusɛl]; born 14 June 1988) is a French journalist, model, and actress. She is the co-founder of feminist magazine Peach and a custom embroidery company Cheeky Boom. She is also known for her lead performance as Alexia in the film Titane, which won the Palme d'Or at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
