Owner and founder Alan Nevins began his career working for famed Hollywood agent Irving “Swifty” Lazar. In 1993, Alan co founded Renaissance with two other Hollywood agents. It acquired the backlists of the Lazar Agency and the H.N. Swanson Agency, thus giving Renaissance the enviable legacy of two of Hollywood’s top literary agents.
