No. After you buy your pass to national parks in the US, you’ll receive a card in the mail or in person (depending on how you choose to purchase the pass).
Can I use someone else’s pass?
No. Passes are only valid for the pass owner.
Does it cover state parks?
Unfortunately, no. The National Park Service doesn’t manage state parks, so they aren’t covered under the America the Beautiful Pass.
When planning your visit to Monument Valley without a guide, keep in mind that the visiting hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. May to September and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from October to April. While you can still enter at any time of the day, the Monument Valley Visitor Center will be closed.
