Amelia S. Kaplan, Composer. Amelia Kaplan is Associate Professor and head of Theory and Composition at Ball State University, where she teaches composition, theory, and directs the New Music Ensemble. She previously taught at Oberlin Conservatory, the University of Iowa, and Roosevelt University.
