Awesome Kong ® was a series of monster trucks owned by Jeff Dane out of Killeen, Texas, mostly the same truck rebuilt multiple times. Awesome Kong ® II (which is actually King Kong ® 2) started as a Ford Flareside with an aircraft engine in the bed of the truck.
Awesome Kong ® (Rife) is a Dodge monster truck owned by David Rife and the Top Dog Monster Truck Team out of Virginia. The truck officially debuted on May 21, 2022. The truck was formerly the Viper, and was originally going to be called Prospector.

Retired Monster Truck owner & driver of Awesome Kong, King Kong, the Undertaker & the Punisher, Jeff Dane, retired from the sport in 1995. Jeff was one of the original Monster Truck builders, who along with people like Fred Shafer, Evert Jasmer & Bob Chandler, started the Monster Truck sport.
Awesome Kong was a black Chevrolet monster truck owned by Chris Roy. It was the former Iceman, Bulletproof, and Executioner truck, being the first Hall Bros Racing chassis. In 2007, the truck was a last minute replacement at the fifth Tacoma, WA show of the winter season.
