Visit. Ulster Museum is Northern Ireland’s treasure house of the past and present. Home to rich collections of art, history and natural sciences all set within the beautiful surroundings of Belfast’s Botanic Gardens. Come face-to-face with dinosaurs, meteorites, Spanish sailors and Egyptian mummies.
Operating Hours. Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday: Closed. Holiday Closings. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter. Thanksgiving Day, and 4th of July. Admission Rate. $12 Adults. $11 Senior adults (ages 65 and up) and college students with valid ID.

The Ulster Museum, located in the Botanic Gardens in Belfast, has around 8,000 square metres (90,000 sq. ft.) of public display space, featuring material from the collections of fine art and applied art, archaeology, ethnography, treasures from the Spanish Armada, local history, numismatics, industrial archaeology, botany, zoology and geology.
Now to December 2024. Political mural painting in Northern Ireland is the longest, continuous example found anywhere in the world. Bill Rolston has been photographing this tradition since 1981 and this exhibition showcases Rolston's photography of the political murals scene in NI. Temporary Exhibition.
