Located just a few miles from the homeplace of “Father of Bluegrass” Bill Monroe, the museum features a variety of interactive exhibits, plus concerts, jam sessions, lessons and events, including the three-day ROMP Fest . This state-of-the-art cultural center also houses the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Hall of Fame.
Temporary exhibits are rotated in two galleries, offering visitors not-to-be-missed opportunities of learning and discovery. Past examples include Bill Monroe Centennial, Pioneers of Bluegrass, A Decade of Dailey & Vincent, and Dixie & Tom T. Hall.
