Robert Alan Ezrin OC (born March 25, 1949) is a Canadian music producer and keyboardist, best known for his work with Lou Reed, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Peter Gabriel, Andrea Bocelli and Phish.
Following his time with Shipley, Justin teamed up with artist/producer Tommy Henriksen and in 2008, moved their operation back to Nashville, and began working with legendary producer, Bob Ezrin.
- Pink Floyd – The Wall. Roger Waters famously had told Bob that he could write anything he wants, but not to expect any songwriting credits. That was just one extra pressure point put upon the belaboured construction of The Wall.
- Kiss – Destroyer. I’d say 1976’s Destroyer is in the right place here at No. 2, given its fame, its sales success and the amount of signature Bob-ness to the situation.
- Alice Cooper – Welcome to My Nightmare. I dunno, is it contentious having Alice’s first solo album higher up the pecking order than any of the band classics?
- Alice Cooper – Billion Dollar Babies. As mentioned, Billion Dollar Babies suffers from the same cardboard-y sound as the three Ezrin LPs before it. But it’s the band’s crowning achievement, with the most and best hits.
