Body of Proof was an American medical drama television series that ran from March 29, 2011, to May 28, 2013, on ABC. It was created by Chris Murphey and produced by ABC Studios. It mainly focuses around Dana Delany 's character Megan Hunt.

A female jogger is found floating in the Schuylkill River. Dr. Megan Hunt teams up with her partner, medical investigator and former cop Peter Dunlop, under the watchful eye of their boss, Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Kate Murphy, who is very aware of Megan's gifted but polarizing work style.
The show's second season ran from September 20, 2011, to April 20, 2012, and had a total of 20 episodes, four of which were held over from the first season. [1] On May 11, 2012, ABC officially renewed Body of Proof for a third season of 13 episodes.
