Turin Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Torino; Cattedrale di San Giovanni Battista) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Turin, northern Italy. Dedicated to Saint John the Baptist (Italian: San Giovanni Battista). It is the seat of the Archbishops of Turin. It was built during 1491–1498, adjacent to a bell tower which had been built in 1470.

There were actually three churches here in the 4th Century, and then this Cathedral, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, was built during 1491-1498.

Of all of the great Christian artifacts recovered over the years, including the Holy Grail, the Crown of Thorns, the True Cross, the Spear of Destiny, Vernoica’s Veil, etc., the Shroud of Turin may be the likeliest candidate. Nevertheless the evidence is sketchy.
