    Lyle is a minor recurring character in Cobra Kai. He is the owner of a successful pawn shop chain, managing three of the shops branches.

    Season 1

    Lyle appears in the episode Counterbalance, when Johnny enters his pawnshop attempting to sell items that Johnny believes are valuable, including his Atari 2600, an old Sports Illustrated issue, and some American Eagle gold coins. Lyle largely rejects all of Johnny's items as being junk.

    Season 2

    Lyle appears in Fire and Ice where he sells Johnny a Dell Laptop which is Johnny's first ever computer. However, Johnny later returns and complains that Lyle sold him a lemon instead of an Apple Laptop but Lyle says it's a Dell and teaches him how to get on the Wi-Fi. Johnny continues to call Lyle on how to use this computer, and Lyle berates Johnny that he is "Not the Geek-Squad" and to figure out how to use it himself.

    Season 3

    Lyle appears in Now You're Gonna Pay at his different store branch where Johnny goes to his shop to try and sell the Dell Laptop that was sold to him and other DVD's and unknown items. Johnny asks how much he could get for the laptop but Lyle says it's a used laptop and Johnny complains he sold it used and Lyle says it's more used and starts to become arrogant and puts up an arrogant behavior. Lyle asks if he has anything else to give and calls his items 'useless crap' and Johnny insults back and says his whole business is full of crap and Johnny asks what makes Lyle's crap better than his crap. Johnny says he's got a 1993 Dodge Caravan, the one Robby stole and was later used by Johnny to replace his 2009 Dodge Challenger, that he can give away and Lyle is surprised by the value. Johnny then complains that he doesn't have anything valuable and Lyle says he should find someone who has something valuable and Lyle then kicks him out of his shop arrogantly and Johnny sighs in frustration and leaves the shop after a failed attempt to sell his items. It is not known if Johnny would return to this store after he had swiped a valuable trophy from Sid for Miguel's surgery.
