Summer High School Academic Program for Engineers (SHAPE)
Online Summer. Dive into the Ivy League experience with Columbia’s world-class instructors and a rigorous and collaborative online experience. Program Options. Online. 1 week, 2 weeks.
Online Summer. Monday through Friday, students will join their virtual classrooms to refine their academic skills through a variety of activities—class discussions, debates, simulations, individual and group projects, Student Life workshops, and more.
The NYC Residential Summer program offers the following options: Session A - 3 Weeks: June 24–July 12, 2024 (June 23 move-in) Session B - 3 Weeks: July 16–August 2, 2024 (July 15 move-in)
NYC Commuter Summer. The commuter option is open to students entering grades 9–12 and freshman year of college. Students who choose to live off-campus can still enjoy most campus resources, including special events, activities and commuter-specific lounges.
Language & Identity: A Linguistic Exploration of Accents, Dialects, Slang, & Grammar. Summer: In Person. Specific course details such as topics, activities, hours, and instructors are subject to change at the discretion of the University.
The Summer Immersion program is open to domestic and international students currently enrolled in grades 8 through 12. Columbia Engineering's Summer High School Academic Program for Engineers (SHAPE) is a pre-college program for rising sophomores, juniors, seniors, and recent high school graduates. SHAPE is geared toward students with a curiosity for STEM: science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
