  1. Oct 9, 2021 · The only true, single-stroke writing fonts are Cricut fonts with a writing style. To find these fonts, click on the Text icon and then click the down arrow on the font bar, which will bring up the font menu. Click “Cricut” to show Cricut fonts. In order to have all the fonts visible, uncheck Only Kerned Fonts.

  5. Jan 18, 2024 · This makes it easy for a Cricut machine to draw the text as a human would write. “Normal” fonts that are not single-stroke can still work as writing fonts.   6. Jan 6, 2018 · I’m going to choose “Dear John,” which is a font available free with Cricut Access. Note on Font Selection: You can write with a non-writing font, but it won’t come out as expected—the Cricut will simply draw the outline of the font, which is probably not what you wanted and definitely does not look handwritten.

  7. As you know, I am a huge fan of Dafont, so that is where I found all my free writing fonts for Cricut. If you like them, download them to Cricut because they may not be there when you go back…or at least not free.
