David A. Christian (born October 26, 1948) is an American who served in the United States Army as a captain during the Vietnam War. While serving as a lieutenant in South Vietnam , he was wounded in action seven times and awarded several medals including the Distinguished Service Cross for extraordinary heroism.

David A. Christian became the youngest National Commander of the Nation’s oldest veterans organization The Legion of Valor. He was a co-founder of the Vietnam Veterans of America with US Senator John Kerry and Bobby Muller. He helped with the National Korean and Vietnam Memorials in Washington, DC.
David remains humble in all of his stellar accomplishments including helping raise $9 million dollars in private donations for the construction and maintenance of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
