Looking southwest across Wilshire Boulevard towards the eastern section of Desmond's Clothing Store, the first Art Deco landmark tower on the street. While stores occupied the lower level, doctors and dentists had offices in the eight-story tower. Located at 5514 Wilshire Boulevard, the two-story Zig-Zag Moderne building was designed by architect Gilbert Stanley Underwood and built in 1928.
