- Conch Tour Train. The first activity that I enjoyed in Key West was the Conch Tour Train. I wanted to do it first because it’s a great way to get an overview of the city and begin to understand the layout.

- Mallory Square. If you want to be in the middle of everything Key West, then Mallory Square is the place to go. Located on the water near the primary cruise ship dock, this plaza is filled with souvenir shops, eateries, bars–and tons of tourists.
- Mel Fisher Maritime Museum. Pretty much everyone who grew up in coastal Florida (like me) has heard of Mel Fisher, the famous sunken treasure hunter.
- Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum. Known as one of the most prolific and complex writers of the 20th century, Ernest Hemingway spent the 1930s living and writing in Key West.
- Southernmost Point Marker. You can’t visit Key West without proving to the world that you stood at the southernmost point of the continental United States.
Nov 5, 2020 · Key West’s Five Sixes Taxi provides a Para-transit taxi which can accommodate wheelchairs. They provide local transportation as well as any destination in the Florida Keys. For touring the island, the Conch Tour Train and Old Town Trolley are handicap accessible with motorized lifts for scooters and wheelchairs.
Key West disabled access is likely the best that accessibility that any cruise passengers will encounter during their trip. Sidewalk ramps, wheelchair ramps into buildings, and flat terrain will be a welcome sight to disabled visitors.
