Commercial Driver License (CDL) programs train drivers interested in the commercial trucking industry. Programs for Class A vehicles consist of at least 80 hours combining classroom, range and road training.
Entry-level large truck and bus drivers must complete required training before testing for certain types of commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) and certain CDL endorsements. States may have requirements that exceed the Federal requirements. How does ELDT improve safety on our Nation’s roads?
