Jun 8, 2001 · Evolution. I can't quite recommend "Evolution," but I have a sneaky affection for it. It's not good, but it's nowhere near as bad as most recent comedies; it has real laughs, but it misses real opportunities. For example, by giving us aliens who are sort of harmless, it sets up a situation where the heroes should be trying to protect them. But no.

Jul 1, 2020 · The two films even share the same director in Ivan Reitman, with Ghostbusters co-creator/star Dan Ackroyd making a prominent supporting appearance in the latter film. If Ghostbusters was a massive hit in 1984, surely Evolution could be a similar success in 2001?
