When I first watched Extraordinary You, I went in expecting a pretty conventionally cute romance and ending, in line with the first half of the show. Within that mindset, I felt the ending was only okay. Then I saw a review of the show describing it as a horror story hidden under a high school romance, and it immediately changed the game for me.
