the show has only existed for a few years. i don't think that's enough time for writers to build that kind of relationship with the MCQ characters. that's just not how relationship dynamics typically manifest in the industry (writers and actors arent supposed to be friends). and this dude is OG hollywood so he probably gives zero fucks at this point about doing things he doesn't care about ...
