Feb 24, 2022 · Thanks to the amazing Flawless widescreen, we got a fix for the game within few hours of release! Elden Ring actually supports ultrawide resolutions (21:9 and 32:9) natively, but Fromsoft decided to put black bars on top to "force" a 16:9 resolution.
Dec 28, 2022 · The Flawless Widescreen plugin allows you to increase the FOV by a percentage rather than specifying an exact value, since it adjusts multiple different FOV values. The game's default (vertical!) FOV is 48.7° vertical, or somewhere in the range of 76-77° horizontal on a 16:9 display.
