May 14, 2018 · Gregory Hoblit’s underrated 2000 genre-bender Frequency was a modest hit with critics and audiences at the time of its release, and while it’s hardly a great movie, it’s so much fun to watch, and it stands up on repeated viewings.
Like last year’s smash hit The Sixth Sense, Frequency is a human drama told against a paranormal backdrop, a story of two characters a generation apart in troubling circumstances who share a mysterious bond and who help one another in different ways. 2000, New Line Cinema.
