Feb 25, 2024 · SlotZilla is an 11-story slot machine-inspired zip line attraction and is one of the best (yet touristy) things to do in Las Vegas. SlotZilla offers two ways to fly, the lower Zip-Zilla (Zipline) and upper Superhero Zoom (Zoomline). If you want maximum thrills, opt for the Zoomline.
- Cirque Du Soleil. I did a lot of really fun things whilst in Las Vegas. However, the best thing I did was go to Cirque du Soleil. I am surprised that I am writing this as I would never have expected to enjoy the shows as much as I did.
- David Copperfield. Again, I can’t believe I am putting this as number 2 but I loved David Copperfield. There is a good reason he is so very famous. David Copperfield is a master showman.
- Helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon. There are loads of great things to do outside of Las Vegas when you are staying there. A Helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon isn’t cheap but it is well worth it.
- Dinner-buffet at the Wynn. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is in Las Vegas. I was expecting the worst of American clichés but I was absolutely delighted.
May 22, 2024 · There are still plenty of fun things to do in Las Vegas beyond the casinos! Vegas is more than just slot machines and black jack tables. There are also shows, museums, art, bars, music, history, and celebrity-owned restaurants. There are so many exciting things to do besides gambling! Check out some of my favorite things to do in Las Vegas.
- Explore Fremont Street. Also known as “Glitter Gulch”, Fremont Street is located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. This pedestrian-only thoroughfare features live entertainment, a zipline, and a light show.
- Climb the tallest observation tower in the USA. At 1,149 feet tall, the Stratosphere Observation Deck is the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States.
- Visit the Grand Canyon. Take a break from the bright lights of Las Vegas and explore one of the nation’s most iconic natural landmarks. The Grand Canyon’s South Rim is about 5 hours away from Las Vegas by bus, while the Grand Canyon West region is only a short 3 hour drive.
- Visit the Neon Boneyard. Explore the history of Las Vegas from a truly unique perspective as you take a trip back in time with this historical collection of Vegas’s iconic neon signage.

Grab a spot at the side of the lake or at the terrace at Planet Hollywood across the road for an elevated view. The fountains of Bellagio are simply stunning and one of the best free things to do in Las Vegas.
