Ghostwatch is a British mockumentary supernatural horror TV movie, first broadcast on BBC1 on Halloween night, 1992. Written by Stephen Volk, and directed by Lesley Manning, the drama was produced for the BBC anthology series Screen One by Richard Broke, Ruth Baumgarten and Derek Nelson.
Oct 6, 2017 · If BBC didn't give that warning beforehand people would have 100% believed this whole story to be true, but it kinda took a dark turn with the controversy when someone blamed their son's death on this TV special, which resulted in no re-runs of Ghostwatch to ever be aired, but then eventually found its way on a home DVD release.
