Golden Door Scholars exists to permanently disrupt intergenerational poverty and increase diversity in the workforce by setting undocumented students up for high-earning, sustainable careers in STEM, Nursing, and Business.
The Golden Door Scholarship funds a four-year bachelor's degree at a partner school. Golden Door will support students at non-partner schools on a case-by-case basis. If a student is uninterested in attending a Golden Door Partner school or does not accept their match, the scholarship may be revoked.
A Partner School is a four-year college or university that works alongside Golden Door Scholars in sponsoring our students. We encourage Golden Door scholarship recipients to attend one of our Partner Schools, but it is not required.
Recognizing the challenges of living the undocumented experience in the United States, Golden Door Scholars ensures that scholars can rely on one another, the Golden Door team, and Mentors for unwavering support throughout their collegiate journey.
