In season 6, the show wants you to think “Chuck - what a good guy!”. But it’s extremely poorly executed in my opinion. Making Bart and Dan jerks and making Nate follow in his fathers footsteps and be dodgy with spectators books are decisions made to make Chuck look good and heroic in comparison.
