A nice thing about this application is that the user can view the approximate location of links on the map from all eras at the same time. PA SHPO recently learned that the Penn Pilot website for historical aerial photographs will be taken offline in the near future.

Mar 25, 2024 · When to Go to the ER. Rocky Mountain spotted fever (RMSF) is a bacterial illness caused by a bite from an infected tick. Symptoms include high fever and widespread rash. In the United States, there are 4,000–6,000 reports of tick-borne spotted fevers, including RMSF, each year. It's the deadliest tick-borne illness in the world.

Despite current recommendations and information on the severity of RMSF, studies show that delayed recognition and treatment continues to occur.

It is spread by several species of ticks in the United States, including: American dog tick ( Dermacentor variabilis) Brown dog tick ( Rhipicephalus sanguineus) - parts of southwestern United States and Mexico.
