Oh thanks. Urban retreat term came from my brother in NY. Having just bought a home in doylestown, it’s a real thing. Market is hot. I’ll check out the other sub. To be clear, I’m not thinking this is fear mongering, more just a description of people moving out of dense cities.

All Four Seasons
When living in upstate New York, you can experience all four seasons. Our favourite time of year is autumn when the leaves turn vibrant reds, oranges and yellows. During this time of year, the weather is perfect for hiking but you have to be careful because 70-degree days can quite easily be followed by 30-degree days!
Upstate New York is widely known for having the full four seasons and this is one of the best reasons to visit or live in this state.
