     The reason I'm forced to use inline js has to do with Lasso.js and Google Maps using https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/...&callback=initMap'/>, it has a callback to an inline js function called initMap() inside another tag.

     I'd recommend using this package: https://www.npmjs.com/package/load-google-maps-api. It allows you to load the google maps api and get access to it without creating a global handler.

     I tried using this guide inside the docs but it didn't work. I tried to reference a global variable from an index.marko with inline js inside a tag.

     As far as this goes, the globals talked about in this doc aren't globals like window is a global. They're more like "render globals" only available in the templates, but available to all of them while rendering.

     It seems the props defaultStreetView and streetView were actually not relevant in this case.

     The way to implement this is to pass { streetViewControl: false } to the options prop.

     Correct code:

     The best way is to use q parameter so that it displays the map with the point marked. eg.:

     As of today (1st November, 2020), Google provided a provision of Universal URL which works quite efficiently on cross-platforms and thus, Google recommends this method.

     Syntax: https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=<lat>,<lng>

     Example : https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=28.6139,77.2090 (New Delhi, India)

     You need to change your "mapDispatchToProps" to have a dispatch as params but why this mixt between context and redux ?
