This information gives you an idea of their experience and what roles they played in the past.
Bios should NOT include the child’s role in the show – that info is elsewhere in the program. Please keep in mind that the info in these bios is public info. Don’t put any information in there you don’t want to be public knowledge. Bios are subject to edit. Examples of HOW TO write a bio: Johnny Freidrickson (12) John is an eighth grader.
Remember the biography should be written in third person (Make it sound like somebody else is writing about you). Start with your name. Grades 5-8 Theater Bio Instructions Bios are submitted electronically when you complete the registration process via UltraCamp. There is no need to bring a printout of your bio to auditions. Bios should be approximately five lines (7 inches long, 12 pt. font). The body should be written in the third party (he/she, his/her).
